- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to help determine the availability of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The requirement is for delivery of USP medical grade liquid bulk oxygen (LOX) to include installation of liquid cryogenic and/or other storage systems to supply the following VA Medical Centers: Durham, NC, Salisbury, NC, Richmond, VA and Salem, VA. The period of performance will be October 1, 2012 and September 20, 2013. Two Option years may be considered. The contractor will be required to forecast replenishment needs in order to anticipate and schedule deliveries. This sources sought announcement is not a request for proposals and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Government will not assume any costs incurred by the contractor in the preparation of responds.
