- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (I)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation W912JB-12-T-8001 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. (IV) This acquisition is reserved for a Small Business concerns; however, in the event that no Small Business concerns can meet the requirement the set-aside will be withdrawn and an award will be made to a Large Business. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 721110, standard industrial classification 7011, small business size $7.0 Million. (V)This is a firm fixed price requirements type contract for contractor to provide Lodging, Meals, Conference Rooms and Audio Visual Equipment for Battle Creek Air Guard Base, MI. Yellow Ribbon Event is scheduled for 27 July thru 29 July 2012. Services will be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (See Attached) as required with the following line item requests: Include in your proposal a list of amenities and any areas of interest at the hotel or nearby for the military members attending the conference: CLIN 0001: Lodging Rooms, Qty - 105(Friday, 29 Jun 2012); Qty - 50(Saturday, 30 Jun 2012) Request to BLOCK rooms only. Service members and providers will to reserve room and pay for room upon arrival. CLIN 0002: Conference Rooms, Qty - 5 (Adults); Qty - 4 (Children) for total of 8. Wi-Fi access included CLIN 0003: Audio/Visual (Projection and screens, podium, wireless microphone for main meeting room only) CLIN 0004: Meals and Refreshments, (Saturday, 30 Jun 2012; Hot lunch buffet & snacks) *** Refer to Statement of Work for Requirements and Services Detail*** Quotes should be submitted with pricing according to each individual CLIN. (VI) This solicitation is for Lodging, Meals, Conference Rooms and Audio Visual Equipment for June 29 thru July 1, 2012 Yellow Ribbon Event to be held within 75 miles of Battle Creek MI. area. Please include a list of amenities in & around the hotel area. Please provide a cancellation policy: Program anticipates up to 200 adults and 110 children. Government needs to know a cancellation date that applies without penalty. (VII) FOB point is Origin. (IX) The government intends to award a contract to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. The Government intends to award a contract without discussions with respective offerors. The Government, however, reserves the right to conduct discussions if deemed in the best interest of the Government.
