- Description
- The Forest Service has a requirement which includes the construction of a bridge over the Courthouse Creek, National Forest Service Road # 140 Pisgah Ranger District, Pisgah Forest, North Carolina. Project Includes remove a concrete low water ford along NFSR #140 Courthouse Creek Road with a steel girder concrete slab bridge. Low water ford is to be completely removed and disposed of off National Forest Service lands. Project includes new concrete footings, abutments, and superstructure with Riprap slope protection. Minor alignment changes will be made as described within the contract document with necessary erosion control items. The estimated cost range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 This procurement is set aside 100% for small business Payment and performance bonds will be required on this project. Site visit will be held on July 26, 2012 at 1:00pm at the Project site. See page 40 of the Solicitation package for more information and directions. Solicitation package is being posted on July 10, 2012. Instructions to offerors is on page 39 of the solicitation. Proposals are due on August 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm EST.
