- The USDA, GIPSA FGIS Office in Washington, DC intends to procure Commodity Inspection and Weighing Services across several locations, generally the middle and southern United States. The Statement of Work will list the complete requirements as well as the specific locations. The duration of this contract will be from Date of Award and run continuous for up to 5 years (60) months. Solicitation AG-6395-12-S-0088 will be remain open on Federal Business Opportunities until a time when all program needs are met or no longer necessary. The USDA intends to award a Firm-fixed price Blanket Purchase Order (BPA) commercial contracts resulting from this solicitation. This will be best value procurement. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Quote (RFQ) AG-6395-S-12-0088, will be released on or about July 10, 2012 and posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website. Please download the RFP from this website. All responsible offers may submit an offer to the solicitation. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at this site. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFERER'S REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE OFFERER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE.
