Description: This is an order action for a cost of test contract/agreement for Hepatitis A, B, and C (Antigens and Antibodies) testing and HIV Screening and confirmatory tests for the period from October 1, 2012 to September 31, 2013 Work includes Hepatitis A, B, and C (Antigens and Antibodies) testing and HIV Screening and confirmatory tests and equipment, including: [a] consumable supplies, standards, controls, reagents and disposables; [b] preventive maintenance, routine repairs, emergency repair service to VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), San Juan, PR. All consumable supplies (reagents, standards, control, disposables, etc.) required for the proper operation of the contractor's equipment and necessary to perform tests on the equipment provided shall be included. The tests to be performed are HBs Antigen, HBs Antibody, Hbc Antibody, HAV Antibody and HIV Screening and confirmatory tests. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation package is available. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to these requirements by July 09, 2012 09:00AM Caribbean/Puerto Rico. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
