Description

Equipment List FY13 & 14 Equipment List FY12 Sole Source J&A DISA/DITCO intends to issue a sole source contract to JDS Uniphase Corporation (DBA JDSU), 430 N McCarthy Blvd, Milpitas, CA 95035. This acquisition is for the procurement of one Silver Level Support Plan and one Fleetcare Calibration Plan for 70 JDSU test equipment devices. No third party maintenance is authorized. Period of performance date of award through 30 Sep 12, plus two (2) one year option periods. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. See the attached "Equipment List" spreadsheets for specific product requirements. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capability to provide/perform. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The NAICS code is 811219 for this procurement. The justification detailing the government's essential need for Silver Level Support and Fleetcare Calibration Plans is attached. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses must be received within 15 business days of publication of this synopsis to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
