- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR FARADAY PROTECTIVE CAPS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to answer the questions below. Question 1: Can you please advise me if you have bought Glenairs P/N: 660-024Z109N-59 QTY: 1700 before from Glenair directly and if so do you have a price history on this part? Answer 1: The requested information is not a stated requirement of the request for quotations (RFQ) and is not applicable to the solicitation. Question 2: I also wanted to confirm that this not a small business set aside solicitation? Answer 2: Yes. Please refer to the General Information Section posted in the subject solicitation. Question 3: Again can you advise if Glenair is quoting you directly on this requirement and/or have you bought directly from Glenair prior? Answer 3: Refer to the answer for question 1. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on July 3, 2012. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
