Description

This solicitation has been amended to delete the requirement for compliance with MIL-I-45208A or ISO 9001:2000 per Amendment 0013 and units ordered have increased by 8 from 15 to 23. The solicitation closing date has been extended to 1:00 PM CST on 10 August 2012. Both initial and revised proposals are invited in response to this solicitation, as amended. Federal Supply Class (FSC) 1398, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333518 with size standard for small business of 500 employees. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to issue a Request for Proposal, W52P1J-12-R-3017, for twenty-three (23) Ammunition Sorting Downdraft Tables on or about 11 July, 2012 with opening date approximately 30 days from issue. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract, FOB: Destination, McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DoD Contract. The Internet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.gov/. You may also contact the CCR Registration Assistance Center at 1-888-227-2423, customer service, and request the registration form and assistance packet for completion. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and http://www.fbo.gov. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to these web sites and is the contractor's responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes.
