Description
The U.S. Department of Labor is pleased to announce a firm-fixed price contract award for Design Build Services of a New Food Service Building and Renovations to Building 7 at the Anaconda Civilian Conservation Center located in Anaconda, Montana. This project was awarded as a Total HubZone Set Aside competition based on market research. The work will entail Design Build Services for: New Construction - The New Food Service building will total approximately 7,000 gross square feet. The work will require site preparation of approximately 18,000 square feet. The work shall also include miscellaneous site improvements in the form of general landscaping, roads, parking, drainage, connection to all utility lines and site/security lighting for the new building. Renovations - Demolition of approximately 6,700 square feet of the existing dining area and kitchen. Approximately 2,000 gross square of the old dining area will be renovated for the Culinary Arts dining room. changing the office to a mechanical room, changing the food service storage to a Student Government Meeting Room, including modification of the HVAC and electrical systems in the Culinary Arts building, and construction of a new east facade which will overlook a new paved/landscaped student square of approximately 6,500 square feet.
