- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: PROJECT TITLE: Baseball Backstop & Fence Replacement The project work site is located at the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center (TRACEN), 1 Munro Avenue, Cape May, New Jersey (Cape May county). This project consist of replacing one backstop and 160 lineal feet of 10' high chain link fence at Softball Field R02 and reconstructing one backstop, with new paint and fabric, and replacing 160 lineal feet of 10' high chain link fence at Softball Field R03. Period of Performance shall be 60 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. All work shall be performed in accordance with the USCG specifications, drawings, provisions, clauses and the terms and conditions which will be provided when all the solicitation document files become available for public download on or after 27 JULY 2012 exclusively from the internet by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at: http://www.fbo.gov. If solicitation files do not appear on that date, please check back daily. The date set for receipt of offers is approximately 27 AUGUST 2012. These dates are estimated and may change. NOTE: NO TELEPHONE, FACSIMILE, E-MAIL AND/OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS SHALL BE ACCEPTED. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Hard copies of the solicitation are not available. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the FBO website to be notified when information on this project becomes available. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted solely to the FBO website. To receive immediate notification of all changes posted electronically, vendors should click on [Register to Receive Notification]. All vendors interested in teaming or subcontracting for this solicitation, should click on [Register as Interested Vendor]. In order to view a Bidders List, interested parties should click on [View List of Interested Vendors]. A bidders list is only available by registering electronically for this solicitation. In order to receive a federal government contract, Vendors are required to register and maintain yearly updates to ensure an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. For information on CCR, access the website at: http://www.ccr.gov Vendors Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) registration must be up-to-date. The ORCA site can be found by going to http://www.bpn.gov. Magnitude of procurement is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
