- The Mission & Installation Contracting Command - Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico has a Request for Proposal (RFP) No. W912C3-12-R-0007 for Load Testing for Overhead Cranes at various U.S Army installations in Puerto Rico. The period of performance is a Base period of Twelve (12) months plus Four (4) additional Option Periods, to be exercise at the Government's determination. A Firm-Fixed Price contract will be awarded. The RFP will be issued (posted) on or about 13 July 2012. The closing date of the RFP is on or about 13 August 2012 (see RFP). This RFP is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541380, Testing Laboratories. The size standard is $12 Million. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunity website at http://www.fbo.gov for status of RFP and amendments, if any. The RFP and amendments, if any, can be submitted through the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ via the secure Bid Response System on or before the closing time and date. Timely hard copies proposals will be accepted. The RFP will be posted and accessed electronically by the public at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation will not be mailed out or faxed. Offerors submitting an offer that are not registered in DOD Central Contractor Registration database at http://www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/login.aspx may not be eligible for award.
