Description
Combined Synopsis Solicitation for the Pacific Leadership Academy Visiting Program Manager OPM in collaboration with HP-FEB needs to acquire a vendor to serve as a Visiting Program Manager for the delivery of the Pacific Leadership Academy for three (3) non-concurrent Senior Leader programs and two (2) non-concurrent Emerging Leadership programs. These leadership programs serve to provide the Pacific Rim community with leadership training and are designed by OPM to meet ACE accreditation. Each individual program will hold 36-38 participants. There are approximately 12-13 weeks between both the Senior Leaders and the Emerging Leaders programs during which time the participants experience and demonstrate their learnings. The Pacific Leadership Academy: Emerging Leaders program (PLA:EL) is comprised of two, one-week seminars, Personal Leadership and Leading Through Others. This course assists agencies in their managerial succession planning through early development of current and future managers and leaders. Participants are technical specialists, project managers and professionals who are not currently supervisors or managers with identified potential for transition to supervisory responsibilities or managers/supervisors who want a better understanding of the foundation of leadership. The Pacific Leadership Academy: Senior Leaders program (PLA: SL) is comprised of three, one-week seminars: Leading People, Leading Organizations, and Leading for Results. Overall, the Pacific Leadership Academy Program is designed to enhance the leadership skills, knowledge, and abilities of mid- and senior-level managers in order to build a more effective cadre of senior executives for the Federal government and supports the U.S. Government's efforts to build an effective Federal corporate culture.
