- This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice for the identification of potential contractors for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract for Local Exchange Carrier services in support of the Hines VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL and surrounding Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC): Aurora, Elgin, Joliet, Kankakee, LaSalle, Oak Lawn and Vet Centers: DuPage, Oak Park, and Orland Park. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification relative to NAICS code 517110. The VA is not interested in any resellers of land lines or services. Contractor shall provide Local Exchange Carrier services both advanced and basic with the highest level of reliability with immediate, uninterrupted service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to the Hines VA Medical Center, surrounding CBOC ™s, and Vet Centers. Contractor shall provide their company ™s technical capability to provide Local Exchange Carrier services. All interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below. All responses to this notice shall include: company name, address, point of contact, email, phone number, DUNS number (www.dnb.com), list of available products and services, the geographical location the respondent is able to service, past performance and experience, and a list of the respondent's establishments and certifications from private, State and/or local agencies. Responses to this notice can be sent via US mail to the attention of Antonio Reyes, Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (69D), 115 South 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214 or email to antonio.reyes@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 4:00 PM CST, Tuesday, July 31, 2012. All contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses should also indicate whether the company is verified by the VA in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Database at www.vetbiz.gov. The solicitation package may be available on or about October 1, 2012.
