- Description
- The W.G. Hefner VAMC, Salisbury, NC is seeking the services of a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that will provide all labor and material for work that includes, but is not limited to the replacement of the existing underground domestic water lines. The replacement shall occur throughout the VAMC, Salisbury Campus. Please note the existing system cannot be taken off-line for any length of time so phasing and/or temporary utilities need to be coordinated with the COR prior to the beginning of any work per the specifications. Contractor to determine best method and location of excavation and replacement based on existing site conditions, drawings and specifications. Contractor to determine the final quantity of sidewalk, curb, pavement and grass repair and/or replacement based on an actual route through the facility. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 with a small business size standard of $14.0M. All work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. This includes final inspection, punch-list, and clean-up. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Solicitation will be posted on/about July 31, 2012. A pre-bid walk-through will be held on or about two weeks after the posting of the solicitation. These dates are estimates. The actual dates will be stated in the solicitation. The deadline for receipt of questions is ten days prior to the bid opening. The Contracting Officer's email address is Courtney.Redic@va.gov. Firms submitting a bid must be registered at both Central Contractor Registry and Vet Biz (CVE Certified). The Online Representations and Certifications must be completed by each firm submitting a proposal prior to the bid opening date.
