- Description
- The following clarifications have been provided by the Grantee and/or USTDA in response to questions received: Q1: Does the Port of Casablanca have a current operating plan and if so when was it last updated? A1: Marsa Maroc has operating plans for each terminal (containers terminal, cars terminal, general cargo terminal and mineral terminal), including the Port of Casablanca. The last update was in 2011. Q2: Does the Port of Casablanca have an existing facilities plan and if so when was it last updated? A2: Marsa Maroc has facilities plans for each terminal, including the Port of Casablanca. The last update was in 2011. Q3: Does the Port of Casablanca have a current capital improvement plan and if so, what years does the capital improvement plan cover? When was it last updated? A3: Marsa Maroc has a current capital improvement plan for the Port of Casablanca that covers the 2012-2014 period. It was updated in 2011. This plan is updated each year. Q4: Does the Port of Casablanca have a master plan and if so when was it last updated? A4: Marsa Maroc has a master plan for the Port of Casablanca. It was updated in 2011. Also, this plan is updated each year. Q5: One of the subtasks in Task #7 calls for development of "training modules and manuals for both safety and security training". Could you please define the extent of these trainings? Or would you rather have the Consultant carefully select those training topics it believes are most needed by the Port? A5: The consultant will suggest the training topics that are needed by each terminal according to the activities and risks of each terminal. Q6: Further to our previous query, could you please advise whether it is up to the consultant to recommend the format of such trainings (classroom, distance learning or computer-based, printed independent study, or video-taped lecture)? Furthermore, are all training products to be provided in both French and English? A6: Yes, the consultant will recommend the format of such trainings. Note that all training courses must be provided in French only. Q7: Is the SOP Manual noted in Task #7 actually an addendum to an existing SOP, providing risk mitigation procedures exclusively to that document, or will this be a stand-alone document as no other SOP exists. A7: The SOP manual will be a stand-alone document as no other SOP exists.
