- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. In preparation for a future procurement, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 334510 (size standard 500 employees) that can offer the medical equipment as described below: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision to provide and install an informatics platform for medical imaging on four (4) stations at the Michael E DeBakey VA Medical Center, 2002 Holcombe Blvd. Houston TX 77024. The Contractor shall provide all necessary training to the designated VA employees on how to use the installed products after the installation and setup are complete. Contractor shall provide a software platform that includes the following capabilities: 1.Must enable image analysis in real-time and retrospectively and viewing of injection protocols with the patient image set. 2.Must automatically transfer contract-injection record to PACS. Software should eliminate the need for any manually entered injection records. 3.Must allow personalization of contrast-enhanced imaging. 4.Must have the ability to integrate patient and study information with other clinical information systems such as CPRS. 5.Must demonstrate increased efficiency of workflow 6.Must allow increased flexibility of access to data. 7.Must comply with all VA information security standards. 8.Must integrate with all relevant VA clinical information systems. Interested companies must submit an electronic statement outlining their company's capability and capacity to provide the equipment, to install, and the delivery time to get the product to Houston, Texas. Also, firms must provide their business size status in accordance with the small business administration website (www.sba.gov) for the above referenced NAICS code they fall within (i.e. small businesses, 8(a) firms, HUBZones, small disabled veteran owned businesses, etc.) This Sources sought is for informational purposes and all businesses able to provide this equipment are encouraged to submit information regardless of Business size. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements.
