Description

This is a sole source requirement. Agilent manufacturer is the only known source for this requirement. PROPOSED SOLE SOURCE SOLICITATION The solicitation number is FA8601-12-T-0222. The NAICS Code is 334515. The size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). The proposed source is Agilent. The requested equipment and specialized testing equipment components for this laboratory software interfaces with the existing equipment to provide the capabilities required for performance for research. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any information received within five (5) days of issuance of this notice may be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
