SF-1442 Solicitation AG-9A63-S-12-0105 Past Performance Worksheet Fire Plan Attachment 4-Wage Determination DBA-Yuba County-Heavy CA9 Section 02090 Blasting Controls Standard Specification Section 02228 Project Vicintiy Map The USDA/Forest Service is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for the purpose of informing industry that solicitation #AG-9A63-S-12-0105 for services --which consist of blasting two rock outcroppings on Forest Service Road #20N63, Feather River Ranger Station, Plumas National Forest, California --is scheduled to be posted to FBO o/a 18 July 2012 with a projected response due date of 31 July 2012. The government intends to award a firm fixed price construction contract. All work will be accomplished IAW Statement of Work (which will be available in the solicitation) and all regulatory guidance to include, but not limited to: 1) submitting evidence that the blaster-in-charge has a valid State of California blaster's license or other license accepted by the State of California where the project is located and issued by an equivalent licensing body for the type of blasting required; 2) Furnish copies or other proof of all-applicable permits and licenses. 3) Comply with Federal, State, and local regulations on the purchase, transportation, storage, and use of explosive material.4) Provide all bonds or alternative payment protections before receiving a notice to proceed /start to to work. The Contractor shall provide everything--including, but not limited to, all equipment, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision--necessary to complete the project, except for that which the contract clearly states is to be furnished by the Government. The anticipated start date is 15 August 2012. The award will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Construction contract. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside with a primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 238910 with and a related small business size standard of $14.0 Million. This notice is not a request for proposals and proposals received as a result of this pre-solicitation notice will not be accepted or evaluated.
