Description
This is a sources sought notice, a market survey whose purpose is to elicit information only. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. This is not a solicitation. This is a sources sought notice for market research only to determine the availability of potential HUBZone firms for a potential HUBZone business category set-aside. Potential offerors having the skills, capabilities and personnel described below are invited to provide feedback via email to Mr. David Boone at david.c.boone@usace.army.mil. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District is looking to install security equipment at various sites throughout the Willamette Valley, Oregon. This equipment includes pole mounted outdoor cameras, door controllers, slide gate actuators, network video recorders, potentially two new slide gates, and also includes desktop servers with Software House CCure 9000 security management software. Included in the work is any equipment or accessories necessary to make a fully functional system that communicates with the existing master security management system. The work is located at approximately six sites. The Contractor for this project must be a certified Software House Value Added Reseller (VAR) with five years minimum experience and references. They should have a proven history of performance on similar projects with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This work will be performed under NAICS code 561621. U.S. citizenship is required for all contract personnel. The following requests are designed to apprise the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District of any prospective HUBZone contractor's project execution capability. Please provide your response to the following. The submission is limited to 4 pages. 1) Offeror's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and email address. 2) Offeror's interest in bidding on a solicitation when it is issued. 3) Offeror's capability statement demonstrating the Offeror's ability to meet the stated qualifications. 4) Offeror's HUBZone certified status, the number of years in business, and DUNS number. 5) List of experience to include location, scope of work, prime or sub, points of contact in order to verify the experience stated under qualifications. The capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. The Government is seeking short statements regarding the company's ability to demonstrate existing or developed expertise, past performance, and experience in relation to the areas specified herein. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the Capabilities Statement as long as the Offeror's submission stays within the 4 page limit. Submission of your Capabilities Statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Corps of Engineers in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This sources sought is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any information or materials provided in response to this sources sought notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. All interested certified HUBZone contractors should notify this office via email or U.S. mail by 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on 27 July 2012.
