- The subject solicitation is approved for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Invitation for Bid (IFB) Through the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Emergency Watershed Protection Program, the NRCS, and the Sponsor the Richland Township Trustees, propose to contract a streambank stabilization project along Radcliff Hollow Road, and with the Jackson Township Trustees, propose to contract a streambank stabilization project along Claypool Hollow Road. The project is located in Richland and Jackson Townships, Vinton County, Ohio. The contract name is: Radcliff Hollow and Claypool Hollow The job consists of - 372 C.Y. of Woven Wire Gabion Baskets, associated drainfill, rock riprap, and channel clearing and shaping. The total project cost is estimated between $75,000.00 and $150,000.00: A Site Showing will be held on August 1st, 2012 at 1:00pm. Attendees may meet at the site, located just north of the junction of Radcliff Hollow Rd. and US Route 50. Radcliff Hollow Rd. is also known as TWP Road 7 in Richland Twp., Vinton Co. Remarks and explanations at the site showing SHALL NOT qualify the terms of the solicitation. Terms of the solicitation remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. Evaluators will not make assumptions regarding missing or incomplete data. Incomplete quotes or quotes received after closing deadline will be deemed "Non-Responsive" and not considered for award. The Contracting Officer is the only individual who can legally commit the government or the expenditure of public funds in connection with this proposed acquisition and is the only person authorized to make changes to this IFB or any resulting contracts award. Invitation for Bids (IFB), Firm Fixed Price - Sealed Bids must arrive at the address in Block 7, of the SF1442 by 9:00am, August 16th, 2012. Bid openings will be conducted on the same day as the bid closing at the above listed time. No bids will be accepted after the noted Bid Acceptance Time. Any bid received AFTER the acceptance time will be considered late and will not be accepted. ALL SEALED BIDS MUST HAVE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER CLEARLY PRINTED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE ENVELOPE AND MARKED ATTN: LONNIE D. ROOT. (Envelopes will not be provided by the Government)
