Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) in Shepherdstown, WV intends to award a purchase order to EBSCO Publishing of Ipswich, MA for access to the following databases: Education Research Complete, SocIndex with Full Text, and ERIC Full Text. Also, online access to the following (19) electronic journals: Annual Review of Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics, Applied Environmental Education and Communication, Business Strategy and the Environment, Environmental Communication: A Journal of Nature and Culture, Environmental Ethics, Environmental Practice (National Association of Environmental Professionals), Environmental Values, Human Dimensions of Wildlife, Human Wildlife Interactions, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Environmental Education, Journal of Environmental Policy and Planning, Journal of Natural Resources Policy Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Psychology and Marketing, Quality & Quantity: International Journal of Methodology, Social Indicators Research, and Society and Natural Resources. The access includes nationwide USFWS license with unlimited usage from August 9, 2012 through December 31, 2012. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
