- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE DESC: The Air Force intends to solicit proposals for a firm-fixed price contract for; Land Mobile Work including but not limited to the following: Furnishing of all labor, plant, equipment, permits, fees and material in support of radio frequency systems and land mobile radio repair and maintenance services. The Air Force, Army, Marine Corps and Navy have partnered and formed the Japan Joint Land Mobile Radio (J2LMR) solution. We require a vendor to maintain, manage, and monitor the government owned solution throughout Mainland and Okinawa, Japan. We also require that the same vendor maintain, manage, and monitor the outdoor giant voice system at Kadena Air Base. Maintain, manage, and monitor includes, but is not limited to: a) Preventive Maintenance b) Troubleshooting c) Maintenance/Repair Calls d) System Upgrades e) System Modifications f) Equipment Relocations g) Switching System Management h) Installations i) Vehicle Radio Repairs & Installations j) Information Assurance security and patches k) Over the air programming l) Over the air rekeying The basic contract will cover a period of 7 months with 4 annual one-year option periods. A pre-bid/site visit will be scheduled and information provided in the solicitation package. It is highly recommended and strongly encouraged that all prospective bidders visit the project site, inspect and observe the site conditions, and reviews the project scope and requirements at the site prior to submission of a quotation. This will be the only opportunity to visit the job site prior to submission of quotes. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation, and register or update their registration at the Online Representation and Certification Application website at http://orca.bpn.gov. All interested responsible sources may submit a written quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The complete solicitation package and related documents will be posted on the FedBizOpps Website: http://www.fbo.gov within the next 30 days. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure they have the most current information (i.e. Amendments) for the solicitation.
