- STATEMENT OF WORK REQUEST FOR QUOTES SOLICITATION PACKAGE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION SUPPLY CURTAINS FOR NOAA SHIP RAINIER (I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes on RFQ Number WE133M12RQ0403 (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through: Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. (IV) This procurement is unrestricted and open to all sources. The associated NAICS code is 314121 and small business size standard is 500 employees. (V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial: DRAPERIES FOR STATEROOMS ON NOAA SHIP RAINIER (VI) Description of requirements is as follows: THE NOAA SHIP RAINIER IS REQUESTING A SUPPLY ORDER OF DRAPERIES FOR THEIR STATEROOMS. DRAPERIES MUST BE BUILT CUSTOM FOR THE SHIP AND INCLUDE MOUNTING EQUIPMENT. SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK FOR MORE DETAILS (2 PAGES) (VII) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance MARINE OPERATIONS CENTER – PACIFIC MARINE ENGINEERING BRANCH C/O MARK VAN WAES 2002 SE MARINE SCIENCE DRIVE NEWPORT, OR 97365 Delivery shall be FOB Destination Newport, OR Delivery shall include equipment delivery, assembly and testing to insure proper function Final destination is the dockside at the Marine Operations Center – Pacific in Newport, OR 2002 SE Marine Science Drive, Newport, OR 97365 (VIII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (February 2012) applies to this acquisition. In addition to written price quotes, offers are instructed to provide (IX) (IX) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Items ( January 1999), applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (a) is hereby completed as follows: Offers will be evaluated solely on price, on an all or none basis.
