Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center located Mountain Home, TN has a requirement for a Counter Fire Shutter with the following generic characteristics: curtain of stainless steel slats, guides of stainless steel angles and channels, bottom bar of steel angle with wireless safety edge, slide locks and interlocks, hood of stainless steel. Fire Shutter should equal to Auto-Set Model CFS-M-G Counter Fire Shutter. This REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) is being utilized to identify if there are any CVE verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or any Veteran Owned Small Businesses that can provide the shutter and installation services, so that a set-aside determination can be made. The firm shall be listed in On-Line Representations and Certifications (ORCA) and Contractor Central Registration (CCR) under the NAICS code 238910 or 444190. All interested parties are required to email the following information to Linda.Dickey@va.gov by 4:00 p.m. central time Friday, April 27, 2012 with the subject line: VA24912I0170 Installation of Counter Fire Shutter: 1) name and address of your company, 2) CVE verification, 3) a detailed description of the shutter to include specifications of the shutter, manufacturer name, brand name, model number and 4) name of contact person to include phone number and email address. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
