- The Space and Naval Warfare Center, Atlantic Charleston, SC code 2232 has a requirement for IEEE DIGITAL LIBRARY ACCESS, P/N IEEE/IET manufactured by IEEE ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 511210, SOFTWARE PUBLISHERS. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a IEEE ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY product listed below under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. IEEE ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY IS LOCATED AT 3 PARK AVENUE, 17TH FLOOR, NEW YORK, NY 10016-5997. IEEE is the sole manufacturer and hold proprietary rights. Award is anticipated by COB 2 AUG 2012. The contract line item number (CLIN) and description for this procurement are:***SEE ATTACHED***This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes for items other than the brand name IEEE ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY equipment listed in this synopsis***The Government will accept quotes from all SMALL BUSINESS responsible sources with the capability to provide the products to the brand name cited above and will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. SPAWARLANT Charleston intends to award a sole source to IEEE ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY; however, if your company possesses the capabilities to meet the technical requirements/specifications, please provide the following information for consideration: (1) The technical specifications of the product your are proposing; (2) a Quote for the items listed in the RFQ; (3) ownership (i.e. Large, small or other concern). This information is required prior to the closing date and time of the RFQ announcement and should be addressed to the Business Specialist. Quotes are due to Michelle Cope, Business Specialist, SPAWARSYSCEN, Atlantic by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 1 AUG 2012. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a Brand Name based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
