- TITLE: 1560; FORMER, AIRCRAFT; F-18 AIRCRAFT ; WSIC F PR: 0045871381, ISSUE DATE: 10 AUG 2012; CLOSING DATE: 10 SEP 2012 NSN: 1560-01-587-6445; PR: 0045871381; Item: Former, Aircraft; P/N: 74A332314-2027. The item intended sources are: Northrop Grumman System (CAGE 76823) or Boeing Company The (CAGE 76301). DLA Aviation does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, nor can the information be furnished by the government. This procurement is suitable for competitive acquisition, however requires engineering source approval by the design control activity. Any manufacturer, other than those listed above wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) information may be found via http://www.dscr.dla.mil/userweb/sarguide.doc. This solicitation will result in an OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION (UNRESTRICTED) Firm Fixed Price contract for 54 each. This is a Critical Application Item and Critical Safety Item. This item is subject to Configuration Control and Export Control. Government First Article applies. The following terms apply: FOB DESTINATION; Inspection / Acceptance ORIGIN. Delivery for this procurement will be DLA DIRECT (STOCK) ship to: Jacksonville, FL. The First Article is due 212 days from date of award (DARO). Production delivery will be 212 days after first article acceptance (DAFAA). Automated Best Value System (ABVS) and Past Performance Automated System (PPIRS_SR) apply. Price, Past Performance and Delivery will be equally weighted. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written quote. Please submit offers in writing. The solicitation issue date will be 10 August 2012 with a closing date of 10 September 2012. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
