Description

The Philadelphia District intends to award on a sole source purchase order with Rolls-Royce Naval Marine, Inc. for the inspection and condition reporting at eight (8),variable pitch, propeller blades for the Dredge McFarland. Contract period is for 45 days from the award of the contract. This notice is NOT a request for quotes. No contract will be made on the basis of this notice. However, all information received within three (3) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. Bonding is not required. All contractors are required to be registered in the DOD's Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. Information on obtaining registration may be obtained by the following Internet website: http://www.ccr.gov. The NAICS code is 332721 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
