- Description
- The 319th Contracting Flight, Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for the Repair Roof with Standing Seam Metal Roofing System, Project Number JFSD 201024, at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The work required to be performed by the contractor consists of: adding a sloped, standing seam metal roofing system over top of the existing low-slope roof areas, resolve site drainage issues at two areas between the two major north and south building areas that are separated by a link corridor, provide sidewalks leading away from those building exits without such sidewalks for emergency egress purposes, that shall lead to nearby streets, drives, sidewalks or parking areas. The project magnitude is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The period of performance for this project will be 180 days after the issuance of a notice to proceed with a winter exclusion period of 1 Nov to 15 Apr. This acquisition is being issued as a 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238160, Roofing Contractors, with a Small business size standard of $14 million. Award will be made using the Tradeoff Process with price and past performance are evaluated equally. Notice to offerors; funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation/RFP either before or after the bid opening/RFP closing date. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system prior to award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at https://www/bpn.gov/ccr. Vendors can also complete their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov/. Failure to register at CCR website may make the offeror inelegible for award. This solicitation will only be available for viewing and downloading at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. No paper copies or CD-ROMs will be issued. Offeror list will not be maintained, interested vendors should sign up at the interested vendor list. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking FBO to obtain the solicitation and any amendments or other information pertaining to the solicitation. The Government anticipates posting the solicitation on or about 10 August 2012.
