- STATEMENT OF WORK SF-18 REFLECTING POOL EQUIP This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The office of NOAA, National Marine Fisheries Service, located at 8901 La Jolla Shores Drive, La Jolla, CA is seeking a contractor to provide reflecting pool equipment and installation. The entire solicitation is attached. This procurement is 100% set-aside to small business concerns under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 238990 with a small business size standard of $14.0M. The government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract with period of performance commencing approximately August 20, 2012 through September 30.2012. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. Vendors responding to RFQ must submit a technical proposal and documentation that demonstrate qualifications. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote is considered to be technically acceptable at lowest evaluated price. All responses must be in writing and may be emailed to pamela.g.jones@noaa.gov.. This is a simplified acquisition. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
