Description
PR No: 0045629059. This solicitation will contain 1 NSN for a Core Assembly used on the F-108 Aircraft Engine. This solicitation will result in a firm-fixed price contract. The NSN and quantities are as follows: NSN: 2935-01-193-8067 Quantity Requested: 29 Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection/Acceptance at Origin, 147 days ARO. This is not a small business set aside. This kit has been determined Non-Commercial. The solicitation will result in a firm-fixed price contract and is being solicited an unrestricted procurement. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is on or about August 15, 2012. The anticipated award date is October 15, 2012. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Small Business Subcontracting Plan not required. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS on or about August 15, 2012 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. Choose the RFP you wish to download. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters. This solicitation and any changes will be available via DIBBS on the issue date cited in the RFP.
