This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, CO. has a requirement for Catadioptric Objectives. Please see statement of work for details. This procurement has been set aside to small business. The NAICS code is 313320 (Fabric Coating) and the small business size is 1000 employees. Statement of work Purpose: This conductive cloth is required to construct a broadband, high power, tapered termination for the Co-Conical Field Generation System, an expanding coaxial cell. This conductive cloth is the main ingredient in the termination, and plays a critical role in its overall performance. Technical Specs: fabric 100 linear yard roll, approx 60" wide Electromagnetic Specs: 300 Ohms per unit square (+/- 1%) Resistance rating to be given at time of order Can handle 20 mw/cm2 Has a primary conductive polymer and secondary protective coating. The specifications should be able to be met after the protective coating is applied. Deliverable within 6 weeks after receipt of order
