Description

Homestead Air Reserve Base intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Systems Atlanta, Inc (SAI) for an integrated Information Dissemination & Display System (IDS5) software product suite that is the only Air Traffic Control (ATC) information display system available that interfaces to the Air Force New Tactical Forecasting System (N-TFS) and the Air Force/Army Joint Enviornmental Toolkit (JET) for display and dissemination of weather data to ATC positions. This procurement is being issued using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13. The authority for the sole source procurement is cited at FAR 13.106-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be available. Firms that believe that it can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose to notify.
