Specifications: < 8 hour turnaround time from purified DNA to direct variant reporting and <30 minutes hands-on time; Single instrument integration that performs clonal amplification, sequencing, and data analysis; Accuracy requirements  >90% of bases with Q scores greater than 30 (1 × 35 bp)  >85% of bases with Q scores greater than 30 (2 x 100 bp )  >75% of bases with Q scores greater than 30 (2 x 150 bp )  >75% of bases with Q scores greater than 30 (2 x 250 bp) Light-emitting diode at 530 nm, 660 nm; Single flow cell system; Ability to stream data to BaseSpace, a cloud computing environment, eliminating the need for onsite data storage and dedicated analysis computers, providing instant, web-based data management, archival, analysis, and sharing capabilities; Low sample input of 1 ng for many genomic DNA samples. No need for emulsion PCR or additional pieces of equipment, amplification is performed directly on the instrument; A single operator can amplify up to 96 samples or more on a single channel flow cell in one hour using a single instrument; Automated data analysis using BWA/GATK for alignment and variant calling; Outputs standard file formats that are compatible with most third party software: fastq, bam, vcf and text (csv, tsv).
