- SOUCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, service disabled veteran owned small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 541990. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on FBO. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affair, Network Contracting Office 22, is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide Tumor Registry Services. Services may include, but are not limited to the following: Ongoing records maintenance, including completion of abstraction a. Ongoing timely and accurate case abstracting and coding with 90% accuracy b.Assisting to eliminate backlog cases c.Computer data entry (electronic patient record/VISTA Oncology package) of all cases d.Meeting reporting requirements of statewide cancer registry, the American College of Surgeon's Commission on Cancer and the VA Central Cancer Registry e.Maintaining credentials through the National Cancer Registrar's Association The intended contract period will be for base year and four (4) one year option period, which may begin February 2013.
