Description
FOR ALL INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT: Matt Oskam, 443-395-6987, matthew.b.oskam.civ@mail.mil You must respond NO LATER than the Respond Date and Time The sole purpose of this market survey is to identify potential providers for implementation of the final infrastructure upgrades to the JAF C4ISR system to include: Installation, testing and sustainment of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) Last Mile - Fiber Optic (LM-FO) network and the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) Long Haul Communication network. Contractor shall perform the associated engineering and civil works necessary to support the JAF LM-FO project by providing program and engineering management, systems engineering, material procurement, installation, testing, and sustainment logistics. The contractor shall be responsible for overall system installation design and implementation. JAF Last Mile-Fiber Optics - Technical Requirements: The contractor shall provide an overall solution which will meet the end-user's directed technical requirements. Summarized, the effort shall consist of the following tasks: The installation and test of the JAF LM FO network. The installation and test of the RJAF Long Haul Communication (LHC-FO) Fiber Optic network. Fiber Optic Cable Trenching and Laying: The contractor shall be responsible for the necessary material acquisition and installation (trenching and laying) of fiber optic cable between locations to be identified by the FMS Customer. All civil works shall take place in the Royal Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and will be in accordance with current Jordanian Ministry of Public Works standards. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all required labor to support the installation effort. Active Equipment Installation: None Project Element Testing: The contractor shall develop a detailed Test Plan which shall be the basis for approving all work accomplished under the contract. Additional Requirements Include: Training The contractor shall develop operator/maintenance training plans and provide training for end user designated personnel in the maintenance and repair of fiber optic cable. Training Plans shall be written in English. Drawings: The contractor shall provide As Built system drawings for all FO links to include the cable's GPS location at 50 meter intervals. Maintenance: The contractor shall provide maintenance support as needed to maintain the FO installed until the end of the contract's period of performance. Maintenance shall be defined as identifying, isolating and repairing faults as necessary to ensure that the FO links function as intended.
