This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: 03 AUG 2012CLOSE DATE: 10 AUG 2012 1600HRS (4PM EST) REQUIRING ACTIVITY: US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) for the US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested for the attached solicitation. SOLICITATION NUMBER: W81XWH-12-T-0379 THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334290 with a size standard of 750. The contract shall be firm fixed-price which will be paid using the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) and the Online Registration and Certifications Application (ORCA). (These systems are currently being merged into SAMS.) Questions shall be submitted to the POC; Jackie McGurk; email: Jacklyn.McGurk@amedd.army.mil. The objective of this requirement is to purchase four Harris P7130 Portable Radios. This combined/synopsis solicitation is posted as a brand name or equal. All brand name or equal quotations shall satisfy and comply with the minimum essential characteristics (MECs) and the detailed description on each line item. All quotations submitted with equivalent supplies shall provide a matrix that directs a point back to all MECs.
