- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure on a sole source basis from Intellipower,Inc.,1746 N/ Saint Thomas Circle, Orange, CA 92865 a quantity of six (6), Intellipower bright uninterruptible power supply, model IHT1500RM-M-1.03kw-120vIn-Isol-24VDCout-2U23-IP65 and a quantity of six (6) External battery packs for UPS Module in 2U Enclosure Meeting IP65 (Model EPP-9B-2U23.5-IP65. The introduction of any other similar system by any other manufacturer for these items is not considered to be in the best interest of the Government with regard to configuration, performance and cost. Please include any shipping/freight costs for FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offeror may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.ccr.gov. A formal request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 08/13/12, no later than 10:00 a.m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 09/01/2012. Quotes may be submitted by Email in Microsoft Word or Adobe pdf format to kimberly.curtin@navy.mil or by Fax to: 540-653-0592.
