Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Great Lakes Region has a requirement to provide Fire Protection and Sprinkler System Maintenance and Testing at the Indianapolis Airport Traffic Control Tower, 4210 Midfield Service Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. Services are to commence on or about October 1, 2012 thru September 30, 2013 for an initial Base Year, plus Four (4) One-Year Option Periods running from October thru September. The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to work on the Automatic Fire Alarm System, Supervising Station Fire Alarm System, Water Based Sprinkler Systems, FM200 Clean Agent Extinguishing Systems, Fire Pump (750) GPM), Pre-Action Dry Pipe systems, Air Sampling Smoke Detection Systems and Smoke Removal and stairway Pressurization System. Company must have at a minimum five (5) years of quality experience within the trade they are performing work. Company must have an active business address and phone number for a minimum of one (1) year prior to award and have an office within a one hundred (100) mile radius of the facility located at the Indianapolis Airport Traffic Control Tower, 4210 Midfield Service Road, Indianapolis, IN 46241. This office must be maintained during the entire life of the contract. Map Quest will be the site used to determine the distance. No Post Office Box Address will be accepted. Company will be asked to provide the name of your financial institution where business is conducted for your company's checking, savings and loan accounts. Company will be asked to provide (3) principal supply sources with whom you regularly conduct business which you have established lines of credit. Financial statements may be requested. Only firms who meet the above referenced qualifications may request a Screening Information Request (SIR). Companies who meet the above requirements shall fax or e-mail their request to Peggy Duncan, Acentia, at (847) 294-8050 or e-mail: Peggy.Ctr.Duncan@faa.gov, on company letterhead showing the office mailing address, telephone number, and the complete SIR number. Company mailing address must be within the one hundred (100) mile radius of the Indianapolis, Indiana Site. All other requests will not be accepted. No phone requests will be accepted. Request for the SIR's will not be accepted after August 10, 2012. The estimated procurement value for the subject project is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. for the initial year and including the 4 option year periods. The contractor awarded the contract must have an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before award can be made.
