- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The Department of the Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN), Atlantic, (SSC LANT) in Charleston, SC intends to acquire, on a sole source basis, annual subscription renewals for Intersystems (ISC) Cache licenses and software (s/w) upgrades and technical assistance (SU/TA) for deployed licenses in the Military Health System (MHS) / Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA). The NAICS Code is 511210 and the Size Standard is $25M. This acquisition is anticipated to be a Commercial Item Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The performance of the base year is for one year from date of award that is expected to occur in 1st Qtr FY13. The proposed sole source contractor, Intersystems Corp, is the manufacturer ot the proprietary software -- FAR 6.302-1. This acquisition is based on the determination that the Government's need can best be satisfied by supplies and services available from only one source. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Point of Contact for this requirement is Jackie Luna who may be reached via email at jackie.luna@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
