- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, and supplemental information included in this notice. The Colorado National Guard will be awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-55 Effective on January 1, 2012. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARS) can be accessed on the internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The solicitation W912LC-12-T-0025 is issued as a Request for Quote. This procurement is 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 324110. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is 1,500 employees. The Colorado Army National Guard has a requirement for a quote for off road dyed diesel bulk fuel purchase. The price per gallon will be locked in for the period of performance and this will be a not to exceed fuel contract for up to 93,818 Gallons. The period of performance is a start date of Thursday, August 16th 2012 with an end date of Sunday, September 16th 2012. Fuel will be delivered to a location near the Grand Junction Regional Airport off of 27 1/4 Rd. There is no address for the location but we are able to provide vendor with the grid coordinates of 712333E, 4336836N. The fuel will be stored in a HEMMIT Fueler. This bulk fuel purchase will be to support 24/7 operations which will require multiple fuel drops. We are estimating approximately 2500 Gallons per trip.
