STATEMENT OF WORK PURPOSE: The Quantum Devices Group is in the process of moving the existing cleanroom from Building 1 Wing 1 to the new Building 81. The systems that were in the old cleanroom in Building 1 are being relocated in the new cleanroom. Because of the early shut down of all of the systems, there was a miscommunication as to the amount of pure gold that was left in the system for the evaporation of metals. The new location will be up soon and there will be a need to bring the evaporator back on-line. In order to be able to confirm the continued success of the evaporator, there is a need to have Gold pellets available for addition to the source. We are currently out of gold and need to order more. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: The group is looking to purchase 750 grams of 99.999 pure gold in a slug formation. These slugs need to be made as follows: Outer Diameter (nom.) 0.12500 " Outer Diameter Plus 0.00500 " Outer Diameter Minus 0.00500 " Outer Length (nom.) 0.2500 " Outer Length Plus 0.0050 " Outer Length Minus 0.0050 "Outer Diameter (nom.) 0.12500 " Outer Diameter Plus 0.00500 " Outer Diameter Minus 0.00500 " Outer Length (nom.) 0.2500 " Outer Length Plus 0.0050 " Outer Length Minus 0.0050 " DELIVERABLE SCHEDULE: 2 weeks ARO
