- Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Italy, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract to provide certified Food Service Personnel in the form of: Cooks (Food Production), Assistant Manager (Lead Cook), Administration Clerk, and other supporting personnel for USAG Vicenza. The specific name of the Post (s) is Caserme Ederle and Del Din located in Vicenza, Italy. Services shall consist of food preparation, serving meals and maintaining sanitation in accordance with (IAW) industry standards and United States Army Food Regulations. The Period of Performance is a three (3) year contract consisting of a Base Year and two (2) Option Years. The Contractor shall begin contract performance on 01 December, 2012 to 30 November 2013 for the Base Year. The First Option Year is 01 December 2013 to 30 November 2014. The Second Option Year is 01 December 2014 to 30 November 2015. Services shall be performed during normal duty hours including some United States and Italian Holidays. Services performance times on weekdays will include breakfast from 0700-0900AM, lunch from 1130-1330PM and dinner from 1630-1830PM Monday- Friday. The weekend service performance times will include Saturday breakfast 0800-1000Am, lunch at 1200-1400PM, and dinner from 1630-1800 PM. Sunday service performance times will be brunch 0930-1300 and supper 1700-1830. All contractor personnel must be capable of reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the basic English language to fully perform in order to understand and follow the Armed Forces Recipe Card System (AFMIS TM 10-412). The Contractor shall ensure that all cooks performing under this contract are certified cooks, and upon request shall provide proof of this certification. All Contractor personnel working in the dining facility must be legally able to work in the country of Italy and be able to obtain a US Army Installation Pass. Health and Hygiene is a priority therefore the Contractor shall provide health certificates for each employee prior to working at the Dining Facility. All contractor employees including subcontractor employees, requiring access to Army installations, facilities, or controlled access areas shall have Antiterrorism Level I(AT Level I) awareness training completed within 30 calendar days after contract start date, or within 30 calendar days of new employees' commencing performance.
