The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Genscript USA Incorporated, 860 Centennial Avenue, Piscataway, NJ 08854-3921 for continued acquisition of recombinant protein production and purification and antibody production, advance e. coli production packages, Basic Affinity-Purified one polyclonal Antibody production, pre-immune serum with anti-ROUAE CD4 and IFNa and anti-0ROUAE IFNb, basic affinity-purified polyclonal antibody packages (rabbit), and a test bleed after 2nd immunization for antibody 1, 2 and 3. These customized assays have been used previously and guaranteed compatibility is required. The system alters both naturally-occuring and recombinant gene sequences to achieve the highest possible level of productiviity in any given expression system. The OptimumGene alorithm takes into consideration a variety of critical factors involved in different states of protein expression such as codon adaptability, mRNA structure, and various cis-elements in transcription and translation. In addition, GenScript’s FoldArt technology is used for hard-to-express/purify proteins to ensure successful delivery. Over 95% of the inclusion bodies can be solubilized and refolded. We provide refolded protein at purity of 85% or greater, with the final outpu dependent on the total amount of target protein comprising the aggregates. The refolded protein is delivered in customized buffer. Genscript also provides complementary upstream and downstream services for the protein projects such as gene analysis and synthesis, antibody product, immunoassay development and stable cell-line establishment. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
