Description

This contract is needed in support of the VA Rehabilitation Research and merit project for a Dual Sensory Loss research study for the Atlanta VA Medical Center, Decatur, GA. The Research Assistant (RA) will recruit, screen, schedule, consent and test study participants. Prior experience in working with disability populations, technology, and experience in conducting research testing, administering questionnaires, scoring and entering data into SPSS for analysis are tasks required to complete tasks required to conduct the study. The RA will coordinate all team communications including weekly phone calls and maintain weekly agendas and minutes with action items for follow-up. The RA will further complete the equipment preparations, set-up protocol and study binder and measures administration scripts and scoring instructions for the initiation of data collection, therapeutic group meetings and work towards the goal of recruiting, screening, enrolling, scheduling, & coordinating. Some transcription related to this work will be required.
