Sources Sought only. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This synopsis is not a solicitation announcement for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. The Durham VA Medical Center (VAMC), Durham, NC currently has the need to relocate the research laboratory within the Durham VAMC. This relocation will take place in three phases. Phase I in Sept/Oct 2012; Phase II Oct/Nov 2012; and Phase III Jan/February 2013. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials needed to pack and move all laboratory and office equipment and supplies to include chemicals, from one building to another within the Durham VAMC. Contractor must have experience in moving highly sophisticated and sensitive laboratory equipment and chemical compounds. Responses to this sources sought notice shall include the following: 1. a brief capability statement/ prior work within the scope of work being requested. Contractor shall demonstrate experience in moving highly sophisticated and sensitive laboratory equipment and chemical compounds; and 2. their socio-economic category. All responses shall be emailed to Diane Stoskopf at Diane.Stoskopf@va.gov no later than 3:00 pme, 17 August 2012. NAICS 484210, Size Standard $25.5.
