Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 intends to negotiate a service sole source contract with Advanced Sterilization Products a Johnson and Johnson Company, 33 Technology Drive, Irvine, CA 92618. This notice of intent is to negotiate on a sole source basis with Advanced Sterilization Products. Services are starting September 1, 2013 thru August 31, 2013. Vendor to provide preferred-service plan for the Sterrad and Evotech units at the St Louis VA Medical Center. J&J Evotech Endoscope Cleaner including water filtration system, Model 50014S/N 5041110071 (EE# 117019), Sterrad 100S Plasma Sterilizers, Model 10101S/N 0101110323 (EE# 117839) S/N 0101110314 (EE# 118181), Sterrad NX Plasma Sterilizers, Model 10033 S/N 0033110846 (EE# 117017) S/N 0033110874 (EE# 117018), Sterrad 100NX Plasma Sterilizer, Model 10104 S/N 1041110195 (EE# 118182). This service intent provides technical service support including system diagnostic, telephone troubleshooting assistance, and scheduling/dispatch of on-site support as needed. This support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Preventive Maintenance (PM) is provided by a field service engineer according to the System Service Guide. All necessary parts, labor, and travel are included. This service intent also includes an unlimited number of non-user-error Corrective Maintenance (CM) calls. Systems are targeted to return to manufacturer specifications within 24 hours of the issue being reported to Technical Support. Mandatory and non-mandatory product system improvements are covered. Accessory kits that feature a package of consumable products are provided twice a year. This includes that the EvoTech filters (Carbon filter 50011 and.2 micron filter 50012) will be replaced every 6 months. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
