Description

List of Prequalified Contractors Solicitation Drawings Solicitation Specifications Solicitation Return Package Solicitation Package The U. S. Postal Service plans to issue a Fixed Price Contract to replace twenty-eight (28) existing AHU's (Air Handler Units) with eleven (11) new AHU's and DDC controls at the Atlanta GA NDC, located at 1800 James Jackson Parkway. All work will be done in accordance with USPS approved specifications and drawings. The estimated cost of the project is between $2,500,000 and $3,000,000 with construction completion within 270 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. The SOLICITATION PACKAGE is attached to this posting. THIS SOLICITATION IS LIMITED TO THE PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS NAMED ON THE ATTACHED LIST OF PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS. A PRE PROPOSAL MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE SITE ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 22, 2012, AT 11:30 A.M. ATTENDANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO Mike Douglass, Purchasing & Supply Management Specialist, at Michael.j.douglass@usps.gov. QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY NOON EASTERN TIME ON AUGUST 28, 2012. There will be no public opening of offers. All proposal information received is CONFIDENTIAL until award of a contract. Upon award, the name of the successful offeror and the amount of the contract will be released as public information. The names of offerors and the amount of their offers will not be released as public information. This information is exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act, Exception 4.
