- 1. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT TO BE USED FOR MARKET ANALYSIS IN DETERMINING THE AVAILABILITY OF THE BELOW REQUIREMENT. NO AWARDS WILL BE MADE FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE ON FBO AT THIS TIME. THEREFORE, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION. ALL RESPONSES WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION STRATEGY FOR THE FUTURE ACQUISITION. 2. Ellsworth AFB requires the following: Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide non-personal services including all personnel, tools, materials, labor, and other items and services necessary to inspect, clean, service, and repair/adjust the Binks Paint Booth located in building 102 (Vehicle Maintenance Shop), 1520 Bergstrom Drive, Ellsworth AFB, SD. • The lighting fixtures (29 each) will have the tempered glass and seals removed and new tempered (explosion proof) glass and seals will be installed (16" X 54"). All 116 light bulbs will be replaced with new brighter/more efficient T8 bulbs (4 ft long). • All doors to the paint booth will be adjusted and seals on all doors replaced. There are two walk-in doors and a large bi-fold door that measures 16'W X 16'16" H. Approximately 48 feet of Binks door p seal will be required. The glass (4 each measuring 24" X 24") on all doors, to include the seals, will be replaced. • All seams on the inside of the paint booth will be resealed as well as sealing all entry points. Any holes found on the paint booth are to be sealed also. • The intake and exhaust fans/units will be cleaned, serviced, and inspected for proper operation. • The existing filter grids will be modified to accommodate updated filter pods; work to include installation of new filters (1 roll paint pockets 36 X 60). • The heating system will be inspected, serviced, and adjusted to proper operating specifications. Repair/Maintenance Approval: The contractor shall not undertake any additional repair and/or maintenance work without the prior written consent of the Contracting Officer. Should any additional work be required to achieve optimal results, the contractor shall contact the Contracting Officer for guidance immediately. 3. All interested parties are invited to provide the following information about your company/institution, or any teaming or joint venture partners. Interested parties are requested to submit product specifications that shall include: Contractor Information • Name • Address • Point of Contact (POC) • POC and product technical expert phone number(s) and email addresses • CAGE Code • Website, if applicable • A description of relevant product equivalency 4. Contractors capable of providing this product should submit product information within the guidelines stated above in paragraph three (3) via e-mail to the person(s) stated below in paragraph five (5). Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is strictly voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlements to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses, or the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industries responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future RFP. 5.
