T-38 and D-21 Pictures SR-71 Pictures Additional Aircraft Pictures Updated RFQ 10 Aug 12 Updated PWS This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1H2KB2202A001 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. There is a 100% Total Small Business set-aside for this procurement. The North American Industry Classification code for this procurement is 332812 Metal Coating, Engraving, and Allid Services to Manufacturers. The Standard Industry Code for this procurement is 3479. The following is requested: 0001 - 1EA - Corrosion repair, paint of U-2 Static Display Aircraft In Accordance With (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS) 0002 - 1EA - Corrosion repair and paint of T-38 Static Display Aircraft IAW the PWS 0003 - 1EA - Corrosion repair and paint of SR-71 Static Display Aircraft IAW the PWS 0004 - 1EA - Corrosion repair and paint of SR-71 Drone Static Display Aircraft IAW the PWS Period of Performance Will be 1 September 2012 - 31 January 2013 at Beale AFB, CA 95903 The following provisions apply to this solicitation and any resulting contract documents: FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998) This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Technical acceptability will be based on providing 1 page Environmental Protection Plan IAW Para 3.4 of PWS and 1 page Plan for proposed method of Paint Stripping, Corrosion repair, and Painting IAW Para 1.1 of PWS. Length of service includes the whole span of continuous service with the present contractor or successor, wherever employed, and with the predecessor contractors in the performance of similar work at the same Federal facility.
