- Helicopter services to support the USAP operations in Antarctica, McMurdo Station. Services/mission requirements fall into three basic categories: 1)Logistics 2)Search and Rescue Mission (SAR) 3)Science Support The services of this Request for Proposals (RFP) are being acquired under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and in conjunction with the policies and procedures at FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Commercial Contract Format in FAR 12.303, as supplemented with additional information included in this section. The following North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS Codes) is the primary code applicable to this acquisition: 481211 (Non-Scheduled Chartered Passenger Air Transportation), business size standard of 1,500 employees. Product Code: V211 Services /Transportation/Travel/Relocation Services The Department of Interior, National Business Center, (AQD) Acquisition Services Directorate will handle the solicitation, award, contract administration, and the payment of invoices. AQD provides contracting support to all Federal and DoD Agencies. Offerors are required to submit a technical proposal and a price proposal to Government officials for the purposes of assuring that the prospective contractor has a complete understanding of the scope of this requirement and has the capability and capacity to provide all equipment and personnel as indicated in the Government's technical specifications, and requirement documents contained in this solicitation. Additionally, oral presentations will be used to evaluate and select the successful offeror. The oral presentation will augment your technical submission.
